About the Club

East Calder Colts FC was re-formed in August 2002 and in a short space of time has grown to provide a focal point for the children of East Calder and its surroundings, to come together and enjoy the game of Football.

As the original sporting colours of the village were traditionally Gold and Black, these colours have been adopted by the Colts as their Club's colours.

In July 2007, East Calder Colts were awarded full Community Club status by West Lothian Council, showing that the Club has met required standards/criteria in coaching, child protection, first aid and management/administration, as well as demonstrating commitment to Club development, with a view to improving coaching standards and aiming for SFA Quality Mark in the near future.

In the coming season, the club will have 8 teams in total; 4 playing in the West Lothian Soccer Sevens League and 4 playing in the West Lothian Association of Youth Football League.  The Club uses East Calder park as its home pitch and travels all over West Lothian and beyond to play away games.  If you are interested in sponsoring one of our teams, please speak to one of the coaches or committee members or email the club by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.

All levels of competence are catered for with a regular Soccer School running during normal school term time, and training for each of the established age-group squads running on various other nights of the week.

Please feel free to navigate around the site using the links on the menu bar left of this page. Contact information and times of training for the various Squads / Soccer School can be found on their relevant page.

The Club are always looking for volunteers and parents who would like to give some time to help in the running of the club. This need not be coaching the teams, this is your community's club. All offers of help are gladly received. If you feel you can offer something please contact either the committee or any of the coaches.

The Committee, elected at each AGM, organises the administration and finances of the Club.
